In the realm of fluid power, the Hydraulic Valve Block is the brain that controls the pressure, flow and directional control of the hydraulic fluid to accomplish the correct movement of the actuator to the desired position as specified by the application.

1. Classification and Functionality

Hydraulic control valves can be broadly classified into three types of control valves: Directional control valves, Pressure control valves, Flow control valves. These, in turn, provide control over the three basic circuits in any hydraulic system: Directional control, Pressure regulation, Speed control. These valves can be arranged as threaded valves, Valves subplate mounted or Cartridge Valves.

2. The Anatomy of a Two-Way Cartridge Valve

As one of the leading Precision Machining fabricator, Difon specializes on the complex manufacturing of the Two-Way Cartridge Valves, which can be found in the following segments:The Insert Consisting of spool, Sleeve, Spring and Seals. This is the head of the valve which commands the main oil circuit. The Control Cover Holds the miniature pilot elements and holds the insert secure between the pilot control and main control chambers. The Pilot Valve Mounted on the cover to command the larger main spool. Most typically, these are standard ISO compliant electro-magnetic directional valves or Proportional pressure valves. The Integrated Manifold Block Holds all of the above components and commands the internal communication of the oil circuits, which are highly complex.
